Refunds and Cancellation
Need help with a purchase or want to stop a renewal? Here is how to request assistance, how refunds are reviewed, and what happens to your subscription and credits.
Our refund policy
Paddle handles refunds for orders it processes as Merchant of Record. Unless a legal right or an express purchase offer provides otherwise, a payment is not automatically refundable. You may request a discretionary refund within 14 days of a first subscription payment, renewal or top-up purchase. Approval is case by case under Paddle’s Refund Policy, which also explains regional withdrawal rights.
This request window does not limit mandatory consumer rights. Using the service or spending credits does not by itself remove those rights. We do not offer a separate unconditional money-back guarantee.
Request a refund
For product problems, contact support@photopol.us. For a Paddle payment, request a refund through your receipt or Paddle payment support. Include your account email, order reference, purchase date and reason. Never send passwords or full card details.
A request is not an approval. Paddle communicates the outcome and processes approved refunds through the applicable payment route. Statutory refund deadlines continue to apply.
Technical problems and unsuccessful jobs
If a purchased feature is inaccessible, a charge appears duplicated, or you believe a charge is incorrect, tell us promptly with the receipt or job reference. We will investigate the service issue and assist with payment review where needed.
Failed or interrupted processing may need a credit correction rather than a monetary refund. We review the job status to avoid duplicate charges or duplicate restoration. Restored monthly credits keep their original billing-period expiry. If a problem remains unresolved, you can raise it with Paddle without losing legal remedies.
Cancel a subscription
Use your account’s billing management link, the subscription link in your Paddle receipt, or Paddle payment support. Cancel before the next renewal. Cancellation normally stops renewal at the current period’s end; already-paid access continues until then unless refunded or otherwise lawfully restricted.
Cancellation alone does not refund earlier charges. Request a refund separately if needed. Deleting an app, closing a browser or not using Photopol does not cancel a subscription. Contact support if you cannot locate the cancellation link.
Credits after cancellation or a refund
After ordinary cancellation, unused monthly credits expire on their original schedule and do not roll over. Purchased top-up credits remain and do not expire. A new top-up checkout requires an active subscription.
If a purchase is refunded or reversed, related paid entitlement and unused credits may be withdrawn or adjusted to reflect the refunded amount. We review the purchase, usage and credit records to avoid double reimbursement. Unrelated purchases are not automatically refunded by that adjustment. Treatment of used credits remains subject to the refund decision and applicable consumer law.
A payment dispute can require review of associated paid access. Nothing here prevents a lawful right to dispute a transaction.
