A strong short clip carries a complete thought. Look beyond the loudest moment to find an insight, demonstration or exchange that holds up on its own. Enough context, a clean opening and a useful takeaway can give existing material a different role in your content mix.

Enough context should remain for the central point to stand on its own. Captions, titles and thumbnails should describe the excerpt faithfully, including any qualification that materially changes the speaker’s message.
They can be reused when the license covers the edited material and its new placement. Permissions for a source video may differ from those needed for an advertisement, excerpt or another publishing platform.
